To all who helped,

THANK-YOU to everyone that helped make the DRAFT BeerFest 2010 a competition to be proud of.  An event like this takes many people working together to achieve success.  Whether you were chairing a committee, behind a computer, knee deep in a beer cellar, a steward, judge, demonstrator, set-up/clean-up, working on the food-chain, a sponsor or wading through thick chili, your link in the chain made the big wheel of this event roll on.

The true measure of success is a combination of blank ink on the ledger and most importantly the attitudes of the help at the end of the day.  I had an opportunity to talk with several judges and stewards, both within and outside of DRAFT, throughout the day.  Everyone appeared to be pleased with the fluid movement through the day and I could not find anyone that seemed stressed or tense.  Many thanks to the competition committee.  Your extensive preparation kept everything running smoothly.

Now it is time to look to next year.  I have found that this event must be planned and all wheels in motion prior to June (summer vacations, yard work, etc.. left major holes in our meetings through the summer).  We will be having a wrap up meeting in a few weeks and start planning DRAFT BeerFest 2011 immediately thereafter.  I hope to see even more entries and more side line activities next year.  Your input and help is necessary to maintain/grow an event that people want to be a part of.

Thanks again for all of the help and I look forward to working with you again.
